How the free trial works

The trial starts when you create your account and lasts 7 days or 14 clips, whichever comes first. A clip counts when TradeCut detects a trade and makes its clip, whether or not you export or share it later. No card is asked for, so nothing is charged when the trial ends; to keep recording, you choose a plan.

Trial exports carry the TradeCut watermark, and attaching screenshots or uploading a trading video to a trade starts on Starter.

Which plan fits

Both plans record automatically, render in the cloud and give you share links. The difference is volume and branding:

  • Starter: 28 clips a month, exports carry the watermark. Enough for a trader who posts a few times a week.
  • Pro: 125 clips a month, no watermark on exports, plus a priority rendering queue and priority support. Built for clipping every trade.

Billing, upgrades and cancelling

Plans are billed monthly in US dollars through Polar, which acts as merchant of record: it takes the payment, handles any sales tax or VAT and sends your receipt.

An upgrade applies straight away, with a prorated charge for the rest of the current period. A downgrade waits until your next billing cycle, so you keep what you paid for. You can cancel from the billing settings in your dashboard at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Cancelling for a change of mind is not refunded in cash; the refund policy lists the exceptions, such as a charge made in error.

Questions

What do I get for free, and what happens when it ends?

The free trial is 7 days with up to 14 clips, and it needs no card, so nothing is charged when it ends. After that you pick a plan: Starter at $14.99 a month for 28 clips, or Pro at $29.99 a month for 125 clips, which also exports without the TradeCut watermark. Your clips stay in your library either way.

What counts as a clip?

A clip counts toward your allowance when TradeCut detects a trade during a recording session and creates its clip, not when you export, download or share it. Deleting a clip does not give it back. Paid plans grant their clips per monthly billing period.

Can I switch plans or cancel later?

Yes. An upgrade takes effect immediately with a prorated charge for the rest of the period; a downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, with no fee, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Do you offer refunds?

Not for a change of mind: cancelling stops future billing, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. A charge made in error, or a failure on our side that stops you using what you paid for, is refunded or credited. The refund policy has the full rules.
